Welcome to the McClendon School of Dance!

We are glad that your inquiry has led you on a journey to learn more about us and what we do.

This is the atmosphere where "we place excellence above all things."   More importantly, this spirit of excellence is imparted into all of our students.   Our low student to teacher ratio allows us to boast a "personal and hands on" approach, while reinforcing academic, moral and ethical values.

We offer strategic and proven dance techniques in the following disciplines: classical ballet, tap, jazz, modern, praise and worship.

These masterful and proven dance techniques have played a pivotal role in gaining our students acceptance into the nation's top dance programs such as Alvin Ailey's Dance Theatre at Fordham University and North Carolina School of the Arts, to name just a few.

McClendon School of Dance has established relationships with world renowned talents whose graces are routinely invited to guest instruct and choreograph for the studio. These talents include: Jhane Hill, principle dancer with the Dusseldorf Ballet in Dusseldorf, Germany; Karen Brown director of the Oakland Ballet, former principle dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem; and Allyn Gartrell rehearsal director for Dallas Black Dance Theatre.

More importantly, we love what we do and it is my passion to inspire children and young adults to use their God given talents to the utmost of their abilities.
